2. Regularly check the webbing to make sure that it isn’t damaged. Even a small nick canreduce the strength of the car restraint.

3. Often damage is invisible. If the seat is involved in a severe accident, it will have structuraldamage. Insurance companies will replace a car seat in the event of a severe accident.

4. Check the manufacturing date of the car restraint. Car restraints older than 10 years will notbe up to date with safety.
