INPAA is the voice of quality and safety for the Australian nursery industry.  It facilitates forums that:

 

• Educate industry on safety and product requirements

• Develop safety criteria to support Australian Standards

• Train industry members in their product safety responsibilities

• Represent industry in standards development

• Provide a consultative and representative network for engagement between key stakeholders such as Government Regulators, test houses and consumer groups

• Provide an Australian contact for International companies seeking information on the Australian nursery market

• Create initiatives for industry development

 

 

INPAA is an entity providing a range of services within the Australian infant nursery industry. The primary aim is to encourage suppliers to develop infant nursery products that are safe in design and that will be safely used by consumers.

INPAA operates in close conjunction with groups such as Red Nose (previously SIDS & Kids), Kidsafe and the Australian Child Restraint Resource Initiative (ACRI).

 

INPAA is the peak industry body for suppliers, manufacturers and nursery retailers within the Australian market. There is a close relationship with the American Association, the JPMA.  This arrangement allows a sharing of information and identification of treads in product safety.
