INPAA Badge & Endorsement Use Policy

​

INPAA grants a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use its endorsement marks (“INPAA Approved”, “INPAA Baby Safety Award”, and associated logos) subject to the following conditions:

​

1. Scope of Use

  • Use is restricted to the exact product(s) and version(s) assessed and approved

  • Use must not extend to other products, ranges, or variations unless separately approved

2. Representation

  • The badge must not be used in a way that implies:

    • regulatory certification

    • universal safety assurance

    • endorsement beyond the defined scope

3. Accuracy of Claims

  • Any accompanying claims must accurately reflect the nature and limitations of INPAA approval

  • Misleading, exaggerated, or ambiguous claims are prohibited

4. Brand Guidelines

  • Badges must be displayed in accordance with INPAA brand guidelines (including size, colour, and placement)

  • Badges must not be altered, distorted, or combined with other marks

5. Duration & Revocation

  • Approval is valid only for the period specified by INPAA

  • INPAA reserves the right to revoke approval and require immediate removal of badges where:

    • product changes occur

    • misuse is identified

    • new evidence or standards impact the assessment

6. Monitoring & Enforcement

  • INPAA reserves the right to monitor use of its marks

  • Unauthorised use may result in legal action

7. Any misuse or misrepresentation of INPAA endorsement, including implying approval beyond its defined scope, may result in immediate withdrawal of approval and further action.

Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy

​

All intellectual property rights in materials published by INPAA, including but not limited to:

  • educational content

  • safety guidance

  • product assessment frameworks

  • endorsement criteria

  • logos, badges, and visual assets

- are owned by or licensed to INPAA and are protected under the Copyright Act 1968 and international intellectual property laws.

Prohibited Use: Without prior written permission, you must not:

  • reproduce or republish content

  • adapt, modify, or create derivative works

  • use content for commercial purposes

  • imply endorsement or affiliation with INPAA

Trademarks & Marks


INPAA names, logos, and endorsement marks are protected and must not be used without express written approval.

Enforcement.


INPAA reserves all rights to enforce its intellectual property, including seeking removal of infringing materials and pursuing legal remedies where necessary.

Use of INPAA Marks: INPAA endorsement badges, including “INPAA Approved” and “INPAA Baby Safety Award”, may only be used by entities that have received written authorisation from INPAA.

​

Use is strictly limited to the specific product, category, and approval period granted.

​

INPAA endorsement indicates that a product has been assessed against specific criteria at a point in time. It does not constitute a guarantee of safety, nor does it replace parental supervision or adherence to safe use guidelines.
