INPAA is a leader in safety standards development and is a member of Standards Australia committees responsible for children's furniture, prams and strollers and dummies.

INPAA facilitates forums to develop input for standards development, through its Product Integrity and Consumer Safety (PICS) Groups. It also establishes industry, safety benchmarks where product safety standards are not available.
