INPAA Safety Ambassadors

From 1987 to 2012, Gail held senior product safety positions at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, leading the national development and application of consumer product safety regulation and policy. Gail’s work focused on investigation and analysis of compliance with technical product standards, including hazard assessment.

Since 2012, Gail has run her own consumer product safety advisory business in Melbourne: Product Safety Solutions, Australia. It provides training, advice and advocacy for product suppliers and other organisations on product hazard assessment and safety compliance. She has produced podcasts and penned more than 100 blog articles for the Product Safety Solutions website.

Gail is an active member of INPAA and a major contributor to safety guidelines developed by INPAA. She is able to share her vast experience so that suppliers have a solid understanding of how product safety regulation enhances safer outcomes.
